POCO F5 5g

POCO F5 Reveiw

The Poco F5 is the model in Poco's new F5 series that is more affordable and is a direct replacement for the Poco F4 that was released in 2022. The base version costs $379, while the higher-spec version costs $429. Regardless of having no "Ace" in its naming, the vanilla F5 takes a considerable amount from its more costly kin. So much so that you might wonder if you should spend the extra money.
However, if we take a more in-depth look at the Poco F4, we can immediately see that it does not differ significantly from the Poco F5. So, exactly what are we working with here? We should take a more profound plunge and find out.

Poco F5 Design & Colors

The Poco F5 has a plastic body that is a little bit boxier and has flatter edges all around, unlike the model that costs more. Because it is made of plastic, it weighs only 181 grams, making it quite light for its size. The design of the camera is a little weird, but I wouldn't call it weird or ugly.

The power button and the volume rocker are on the right side of the phone. The power button is the F5's fingerprint sensor and works quickly and accurately.

At the front, Poco has shockingly figured out how to accomplish uniform flimsy bezels (like the F5 Master). Gorilla Glass 5 provides protection for the display, and you receive an IP53 certification for dust and splash resistance.

The Poco F5 comes in three colors to choose from: Dark, Blue, and White. Each of the three appear to have an alternate completion on the back. I was able to play with the blue one, which is a little matte and smooth. I'm glad to say that it figured out how to cover unique finger impression smircesh very well, so props for that. However, many buyers would probably use the free case that comes with the product anyway.

Poco F5 Display

Very much like with the F5 Master, the showcase on the Poco F5 is one of its better attributes. It very well may be only 2400 x 1080 pixels, however it actually accompanies a 120Hz revive rate to bring that smooth insight while exploring the UI. It gets bounty splendid as well, and I had no issue while utilizing the telephone outside. Since it is an AMOLED, the difference and varieties were fine enough for me to partake in a few web based real time features.

Poco F5 Camera

Although the Poco F5's back camera system appears identical to that of the Pro model, it does not perform in the same manner. That could be because the Snapdragon processor is less powerful or because the image sensors are different, despite the fact that the specifications are similar.
Very much like with the F5 Genius, be that as it may, the 8MP super wide and 2MP full scale shooters are not something to think of home about. The macro is once again unable to get close enough to the subject to truly qualify as a "macro" photograph, while the ultra-wide lacks detail and has a tendency to underexpose the image.

Poco F5 Performance & Benchmarks

The Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2 was first introduced to the global market in the Poco F5. The Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 is the more powerful flagship model, and this is the midrange version of it. The Poco F5 Pro comes with it. It likewise accompanies the 8GB and 12GB of Smash choices. There is only one storage option available: 256GB.

The Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2 is an extraordinary piece of silicon, and this displayed during gaming with the Poco F5. Without experiencing any frame drops or overheating, I was able to play some games with more complex graphics in a comfortable manner. The Poco F5 has the company's own LiquidCool Technology 2.0, which, as with the Pro model, increases heat dissipation by 35%. However, keeping all of that in mind made the occasional UI stutters and glitches appear even more bizarre. From time to time while I was exchanging applications or utilizing the camera, I saw a few cases of the telephone thinking extra hard.

Poco F5 Battery

The extremely power-efficient Snapdragon 7 Gen 2 and the 5000mAh battery that come with the Poco F5 ensure a long battery life. When I saw that it is so challenging to cut this battery down, I was totally quiet and had zero concerns that the telephone would pass on me while I'm on a long walk or an evening out on the town.

Poco F5 Charging Speeds

The Poco F5's support for 67W wired charging made me less concerned about battery life, giving me enough power to get a quick boost that would last me for hours. The fact that I didn't have to buy a 67W charger because it came with the box made things even better.

However, unlike the F5 Pro, the regular Poco F5 does not support wireless charging.
